2025 Recap!

The good, the bad, and the Bigfoot.

Also, a tribute to a king.

2025 was another great year for the Mechanical Mischief team, as our newest truck entered its second year of service. Plenty of hard-fought victories, disappointing losses, and spectacular tricks are what we have to look back on for the previous year of monster trucking action. Engine problems plagued us during the Spring, as well as another fiberglass-shedding tumble, but by the time our 50th Anniversary body arrived in time for the Summer, we were riding smooth once again.

Another major highlight was helping put together the first ever dedicated monster truck event at Elko Speedway. Not just as a side act, but the whole show. Two shows in fact, as our Bigfoot went up against 5 other fiercely competitive monster trucks. For 2026, we want to do it again, and we want you there.

Of course, few things have shaken the monster truck world quite like the loss of Bigfoot icon Dan Runte. Dan was not just the best, but the standard that all monster truck drivers should hope to reach. One day, we wish to reach that same standard. Until then, every time we run the Bigfoot name will be in his honor and memory.
