Jim came out with a high-energy freestyle in Minneapolis, but caught a bad bounce and ended up rolling over early.
"I was disappointed with the run," he said. "I wanted to come out and really air the truck out and be aggressive after getting the shocks dialed in at Detroit, but I didn't have the luck I was hoping for tonight."
Burns will take Mechanical Mischief to the next show after some repairs, and hopes for better luck then.

Jim put in a solid weekend to kick off the season at Detroit's Ford Field despite some minor issues that have since been worked through. Freestyle brought a couple of slap wheelies and a well-rounded approach. "I was just getting into it and about to really start hitting stuff hard when my front steering went out," said Burns. "I was disappointed, but I do have some confidence in my shocks heading into Minneapolis. I plan on letting it rip, and if we do some damage, we do some damage!" Burns and Mechanical Mischief head into Minneapolis in attack mode. Check out the video of his freestyle above, then head over to our Photos section for a gallery from Brett Moist. Jim put in a great effort in Uniondale, turning heads once again with Mechanical Mischief. On the rough multiple-show, concrete-surface weekend, the truck and driver came away unscathed and challenged for victories throughout. We will be updating our photos and videos soon!

Jim had an outstanding weekend in Milwaukee! He is quickly proving to push all the top competitors to their limits and showing off quite a bit, as seen above from night two! "I was trying hard all weekend to get the back end to break loose for a donut, but just couldn't get it," said Jim. "I got up on two wheels and got shut off, but luck was on my side." The crowd in Milwaukee roared its approval as Jim brought Mechanical Mischief back to earth. After two great showings in the Wheelie and Freestyle competitions, Jim has a week off, then heads to Uniondale, New York for another great Freestyle Mania show. Jim started off the 2011 season in Columbus, Ohio with a great beginning, putting forth solid efforts in the Freestyle Mania format's Wheelie and Freestyle competitions at the two shows. Jim took his act to Lacrosse, Wisconsin this past weekend for two rounds of freestyle with Mark Schroeder and the Felon, and turned in two great performances, including several slap wheelies and some great sky wheelies! Check out the videos below:

Lacrosse was a great showing for Jim and Mechanical Mischief! In two rounds of freestyle, Jim lit the crowd up with several vertical sky wheelies and even got a couple of slap wheelies. Between rounds of freestyle, Jim and the Felon crew thrashed on Mechanical Mischief to repair a broken steering ram and get the truck running. Jim then took his aggression out on the track, with some big air and another slap wheelie to leave the Lacrosse crowd cheering its approval. Jim was nominated for "Arena Wheelie of the Year" for his tailgate-planting wheelie in Rockford at the Monster Jam Awards Banquet. He is currently lining up summer shows, and we will have more media and a schedule released soon!

Jim made the most of the biggest stop on his schedule, clocking a faster run than Grave Digger in qualifying and just missing a first round upset of El Toro Loco in racing. His freestyle was highlighted by its fast pace and an awesome rolling wheelie to end it (pictured above). Next up for Jim is Madison, Wisconsin. Enjoy, and more is to come!

Week two of Jim's season is in the books, and it was another good one. Nashville was treated to a good show courtesy of Mechanical Mischief.
"We went through the truck again before the show and I picked up a couple of things," said Jim. "I was really happy with my wheelie in the second show; I put it on the tailgate and felt good about that."
Jim had two great efforts in the wheelie contest and was a tough draw in racing, too.
"I feel like if I get just a bit smoother, I'll be taking the truck farther racing," he said. "I'm looking forward to this weekend in Minneapolis!"

Jim got 2010 started off with a bang in Council Bluffs for Monster Jam, surprising everyone with an awesome new look for the truck, courtesy of SteelSkinz. It was a big hit throughout the four-show, three-day weekend, and Jim rose to the occasion, making solid passes all weekend with no damage, and even grabbing a wheelie contest win. Burns walked the truck over the set of cars and rode it off, and his 24 was the winning score for Sunday�s show. Other highlights included a 26 in freestyle at one show and a huge jump off the racing lane during another freestyle.
�It was a good first weekend for sure,� said Jim. �People seem to like the look of the truck; I like it, and we�ve just got a few things to tweak on it before Nashville next weekend.�
